[NEEDS INPUT] Toddlers dont play with toys [ Edited ]

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.53.115.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? EPs: Island Living, Get Famous, Seasons and Dogs and Cats GPs: Parenthood & Vampires SPs: Laundry Day, Kids Room & Romantic Garden
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Create a toddler (or age a baby to get a toddler) and let them play with the toys or let them get one out of the toy box.
What happens when the bug occurs? At first the toddler will sit down with the toy, but then the will stand up again and bring the toy back to the toy box. No playing at all. (Note: Toddlers needs are all green & mood is also fine)
What do you expect to see? The toddler should start playing with the toy, they should also learn the fantasy-skill.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Latest patch from 16th July.

Hmm, sounds like the fix they implemented for toys getting stuck in toddlers' hands may be overreaching here...

@MrsLouZifer2611 Tested this and can't replicate on my game.

My toddler is playing fine.

Did you start a new save or is this an existing one ? Could you try resetting the toddler ?

I have tested it with an old save file and tried recreating it with a new one. The issue occurs in both files and resetting the toddler isn't helping at all - that was the first action I tried after the issue occured. The toddler will stop playing, but the same thing happens as soon as I send them to grab a toy.
