Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Throw a social event on a holiday.
What happens when the bug occurs? The Sim receives a trophy and a reward for the social event.
What do you expect to see? The social event to not provide Sims a trophy or a reward.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

The game doesn't allow the player to choose if the party has goals are not.  All events on holidays are without goals.  The goals for the event still trigger in the background.

@canelacaliente What kind of social event did you hold ? I tested this with a house party and got no trophy

I threw a dinner party.  The holiday was Harvestfest.

@crinrict My Sim has the Party Animal aspiration.  I don't know if that matters.  I tested a planned event and it still counted even though it was thrown on a holiday.

@canelacalienteThe Trophies are from Get Famous, Social Events reward random objects, some careers award trophies in base game like the Athlete career. You may be able to get trophies from winning a soccer game or the digital version from DU but not certain. There is only 1 Social Event that rewards a trophy and its connected to get Famous called Fan Meet and Greet. If you get Gold in that you get the Gold fan meet and greet accolade, the other levels give you bronze and silver versions of them.
