[S] Rain breaks the neon signs

Hm. I was able to repair it multiple times.

Does that happen to all signs ?

I tried with the "Open" sign.

In fact, I've got the same problem with the coffee machine (Café lot) which was broken by the rain.

Each time, I repair it, it's directly broken again.

I hear the Broken sound 2 or 3 times while the sim is repairing the object.

Was the machine outside or inside ?

Did you try to repair them while it was raining ? That didn't work for me either cause they constantly re-broke.

For now, I would suggest putting them under a roof. That works well for me.

Can you test on a fresh save for testing purposes ?

I just saw you posted in the thread where you can't repair unbreakable objects. Is this the case for your neon signs/ coffee machine ? They are unbreakable ?

The neon signs breaking outdoors is more than a bit ridiculous since their primary use is outdoors. I had to mod this myself to stop them breaking, because it was driving me nuts. Maxis definitely needs to make it so neon signs are weather proofed.
