[NEEDS INPUT] [S] Mystical Magic Bean Portal Tree doesn't adjust to seasons

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All up to Seasons EP at time of writing.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play in winter and place the Mystical Magic Bean Portal Tree from buydebug. You will see it still has its leaves and has no snow on it.
What happens when the bug occurs? With Seasons EP, during winter, the Mystical Magic Bean Portal Tree (from the plantsim challenge) does not accumulate any snow or lose its leaves.
What do you expect to see? The Mystical Magic Bean Portal Tree should lose its leaves and accumulate snow.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

In a nutshell, the Mystical Magic Bean Portal Tree from the plantsim challenge does not lose its leaves in fall and winter and does not accumulate snow in winter.
