Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have the countdown holiday tradition available. Turn on the TV to the Countdown channel. Hire a service Sim to come to the lot.
What happens when the bug occurs? Service Sims will not start the task they were hired for and they will watch the Countdown channel. If the played Sim turns off the Countdown channel, the service Sim will turn it back on. This prevents the service Sim from completing their task.
What do you expect to see? Services Sims to ignore the Countdown channel on the TV and complete the task they were hired for then leave.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
The only solution is to remove the TV from the lot then to add the TV back after the service Sim starts performing their task and then ignore the Countdown.
