[NEEDS INPUT] Roof Trims scale improperly with Curvature

[ Edited ]
Hero (Retired)

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? n/a
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Create one of the original roof types (gabled, half gabled, hipped, half hipped), size it up a good bit (so that it's easier to see what's going on), and apply the Beveled Roof Trim to it (this problem applies to most roof trims, but it's easier to see on the larger trims). Note how the roof trim is even in terms of its shape and width across all edges of the roof. Now adjust the roof's curvature to be extremely concave. Next adjust the roof's curvature to be extremely convex.
What happens when the bug occurs? When the roof has a large concave curve, the roof trim goes from an even size to one of ascending narrowness which starts looking too thin and stretched as it approaches and passes the peak of the curve. When the roof has a large convex curve, the thinning occurs on a descending plane, again looking too narrow and pinched near the bottom. There is an added effect of a great deal of height added to the trim around the bottom of the roof.
What do you expect to see? The trim should remain as uniform in appearance as possible. Some narrowing or widening might be expected, but not to this degree, and it definitely should not gain in height at the bottom of the roof.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
