Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? Dansk
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.65.70.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Udforsk universitetet, Årstider, Hunde og Katte, Byliv, Nye Venner, Arbejdstid, Forældre, vampyrer, Ud at spise,
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I would assume, that you would have to paint a lot of "paint from reference". I, my self should have done about 60-70 paint from reference. They're all hanging on a wall.
What happens when the bug occurs? It randomly appears sometimes when I log in. No matter if everything is up to date or not. I have tried re-installing the sims 4, didn't work out. All the paint from reference-paintings goes black. sometimes other painting does too.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see the reference that had been painted. In my case paintings of my simmers children.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure 

The problem started occurring about 1,5 years ago and keeps happening seemingly random. 

I have attached two screenshots that show the black paintings, and that only some turn black. For the first time ever, one of the paintings was black/white or multi coloured.

I have the exact same problem and it's soo irritating because you lose important memories of your sims.

 

It happens whether it's paintings, photos or if you get paintings off the gallery. Even some builds off the gallery with customized photos all go black and there's nothing you can do about it.

@flora0305 I also have the same issue, they don't turn black they just complete as if not being painted

Pictures in my household became now black?

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know exatly
What happens when the bug occurs? After a long time, I wanted to play again with another family of mine. Once I have been in the house - I see all the pictures I have made are black! Even those paintings where you take a picture! The issue can't be my noteboook, because I have a gaming notebook and playing on this since the first Sims 4 came out.
What do you expect to see? Help or fixes
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
