Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
What is your current game version number? 1.64.84.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Discover University, Island Living, Seasons, Cats and Dogs, City Living, Get to Work, Realm of Magic, Vampires, Dine Out, Spa Day, Outdoor Retreat, Laundry Day, and Bowling Night
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Use plumbing objects from the Off-Grid category while you have water resources collected.
What happens when the bug occurs? I still sometimes get brackish water/ warmish water moodlets when using off-grid plumbing objects even when I have water resources collected. Sometimes I do get a sustainably sourced positive moodlet, but not as often.
What do you expect to see? For all plumbing objects to work normal off-grid as long as fresh water is in stock.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The Eco-living/Off-Grid patch.
In the patch notes it said that as long as you have water and power stored up that your objects that use those resources should work exactly as a regular lot, and like they normally would off-grid if you don't have any collected. I keep around 30+ units of water stored at any given time. I designed my bathroom with all Off-grid tagged fixtures just in case I didn't have water then they could still use it in the traditional off-grid way (with scummy well water or whatever they used before lol). I have a kitchen sink that is not functional off-grid but it works normally since I have collected a bunch of water. I expect the off-grid tagged objects to work similarly, but they don't always do.
They get the negative moodlets mostly from washing hands right after the toilet. I suspect this is because they are defaulting to the off-grid wash hands interaction which is still available in the wheel regardless. Also when washing dishes my sim likes to go into the bathroom with them a lot instead of using the much closer and functional kitchen sink and will almost always get a negative moodlet. I haven't had any trouble with the bath, though I queue that interaction manually.
