What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Digital Deluxe and Vampires
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a Sim write a Mystery Novel and Submit it to the Literary Digest or a Publisher
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim receives $0-$1 for the publication right from the start - tested and replicated three times.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see some amount of money for the publication
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

So Mystery Novels don't seem to generate any revenue for my writer sim. Is there a fix or any insight into this?

@crinrictZarameus This happens to me! My sim is a freelance writer, level 10 skill, and receives $0 for all mysteries she publishes. So aggravating!
