I got a pop up in my game from the Better Exceptions mod telling me the possible cause of LastException is puddle_loot_op and the reason is Exception in Sim Timeline: Exception running Element (AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'is_on_active_lot')

Can anyone explain?

@Dijitalz17 What happened in your game when you got the error ? Crash to desktop or something else ?

@Dijitalz17 TBH, I doubt that this error is causing CTDs.

Have you tested if it still crashes if you remove your mods/cc ?

Please also update your game to the latest version.

@crinrict I think you are right, the crash to desktop must have been something different and that only happened right after a loading screen but I felt that this report was relevant to it but I removed my mods and checked and I put them back and I haven't been getting any last exceptions anymore

If you will find out which mod caused this error, please tell me because somtetimes I get this error too.

Well I didn't really think it was a mod nut now that I think about it, the last thing I did before an error involving a mod was to see the doctor [in Slice of Life] but it only happened when a specific sim tried to travel so maybe it was cc on her. I didn't get any more errors or crashes anymore though, but If I do I'll try to find it

I don't know if there were any updates for Slice of Life but I have the automatic update version and it may have updated itself so that may be why I don't see anymore crashes or errors.

@Dijitalz17 I think there's two issues here:

The Puddle LastException and the Crashing. They are probably unrelated.

The LE can very well be a game issue but it would be interesting to know what happens ingame when you get the le. It's probably not a huge problem.

The crashing is most probably mod related.
