Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a Sim in the scientist career try to change outfits of a Sim using Mind Control on the Simray. The hot weather and cold weather outfit categories are missing.
What happens when the bug occurs? Scientist Sims cannot change the outfit of a Sim into hot weather or cold weather clothing. The option does not appear when using mind control on a Sim.
What do you expect to see? The option to change Sims into hot and cold weather clothing when using Mind Control on a Sim to change their clothing.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Looking into the game files there are currently no tuning files for the hot and cold weather clothing categories.

@crinrictcanelacaliente Since Get to Work predates Hot Weather and Cold Weather clothing options, it's possible the developers haven't added it in or possibly forgot about it. Have you seen it in your game previously?

@AriaMad2 It will not show up in the game.  There are no files for it to show up in the game.  The game files are missing.

The options are, from the top and clockwise, Swimsuit, Party, Formal, Sports, Sleeping, Everyday. Clothes for warm and cold weather are missing.

A possible workaround is to give your sims an embarrassing formal outfit to wear for this purpose.  Formal outfits aren't used much in the game unless you have a restaurant with that dress code.  But party outfits can be used instead for that purpose.  A well chosen party outfit can be good for restaurants, nightclubs, etc.  Formal outfits are extremely optional and might be better reserved for the purpose of making the Simray work better.  Unless, of course, you throw a lot of formal weddings for your sims.  Then I think formal outfits become a lot more important.  But if you just elope, no problem.  Or if you set up all of your married couples ahead of time using the CAS system.  That's pretty much my approach.

This is annoying. Because the Hot and Cold Weather outfits came way after Get To Work, they clearly forgot to add those outfit categories to the sim ray's options of outfits you can force the other sims to wear.
