Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Create a club, make baking an activity, start a gathering on a lot with full kitchen. Club also has entry requirement of level 2+ baking skill.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims in the club will start baking, but the only ever bake white cake, regardless of their skill level.
What do you expect to see? Sims will bake a variety of items based off of their skill level/individually unlocked recipes.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

@SappySifaka How high a cooking skill do your Sims have ? I haven't tested this lately and we all know there's much issues with baking white cake but from my testing back then, it took them a while to start making variations.

Will test this again when I get a chance though

@crinrict Thanks for asking, I meant to include that detail in the original post. All club members are at level 9 or 10 baking.

I also have the issue where they start making a white cake, but leave it partially made on every surface in the home.

@crinrict Just wanted to update this to say that even after the recent patch (which I believe fixed the bug where sims were generally obsessed with baking white cakes) the club baking action still only produces white cakes for me.

I have the same issue with sims coming over and cooking too. I have clubs over, no club activities for cooking but they all nonstop fight over the kitchen to cook, most of the time white cake, every now a then a salad, or grabbing a quick meal.

I just had a sim come over to give a gift and after he went straight to the kitchen and made a white cake. Maybe this has something to do with a similar bug where sims wont grab leftover and keep getting quick meal or making new meals and not eating them.

This was during a club meeting without baking activities. It is getting crazy with Yamachan coming over and baking white cakes as well ...

I just wanted to say that there are even more cakes if Yamachan "joins" a club meeting.
