How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Expansions: All Game Packs: Parenthood, Dine Out, Strangerville, Spa Day Stuff Packs: Perfect Patio, My First Pet
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a Sim reach skill level 4 or 8 of the acting career. There is a notification that Sim unlocks a new item but it is not available in the family inventory. It can only be bought in build mode.
What happens when the bug occurs? The item from reaching the Skill milestone is not in the family inventory.
What do you expect to see? The item appears in the family inventory when it is unlocked.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
