How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.51.75.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All that is currently available + Free Holiday and Grim Reaper Guitar
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Place Milton Word Processor and click "enable emotional Aura" and make sim be close to it
What happens when the bug occurs? nothing
What do you expect to see? The sims to become inspired
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes

I got it working (if it wasn't something else I forgot to disable) on a public lot, but not at a residential

If you have 2 on a lot, you will get the emotional aura.  The aura level for these are low so it takes multiple objects to get the effect.

I just experienced this problem as well. Because the sim is so close to the inspiring decor computer, I feel like it shouldn't take more inspiring decor to get the sim inspired? That's the whole point of this computer, isn't it? That it helps writers get inspired? I have another sim writer in another neighborhood, where the milton word procesor does get the sim inspired without extra decor. So I would think this is a bug?
