[WINDOWS RELATED] Can't type Chinese characters in the cheat dialogue box [ Edited ]

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? enter words in the cheat dialogue box
What happens when the bug occurs? Unable to enter Chinese characters
What do you expect to see? When I try to reset my sim, I can't enter any Chinese characters.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

After some investigation, the team thinks this is indeed a Windows issue.

I've been told that this Windows update should resolve it -

@homurahomumu Really don't think this is a bug as the cheats are english format only. Don't think any of the cheats are available in other languages.

Or have you been able before ?

Cheats are unsupported and I doubt they go through the trouble of localizing them.

It's new.

It happened since I updated the 1.55 version.

Because my sim is named in Chinese characters, I need to use its name to enter the "resetSim Firstname Lastname" code.

After restoring the windows system, it returns to normal.

This error may be caused by Microsoft updates.
