How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.47.51.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a famous sims advertise on computer
What happens when the bug occurs? For some reason there's a bug where you can advertise without being in the social media career. What happens is sims with a decent amount of follower (1500) will loose all of them because the game thinks they've got hundreds of thousands more than they do. Making them loose something like 600,000, which is way more than they have.
What do you expect to see? For advertise to not be available to sims not in social media career and to not loose more followers than they've got.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
