[FIXED] [CD] LE on using Cat Wand

[ Edited ]
★★★★★ Apprentice

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.47.51.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Place a cat wand anywhere in your house on the floor that has a dog and a cat. Let them do their thing. (Possibly look for when your dog tries to pick up the wand)
What happens when the bug occurs? The wand either resets, or for some reason the dog queues to put it in the toy box which causes the dogs body to stretch and glitch, then the wand is teleported. Then an LE.
What do you expect to see? No LEs, no glitches when having a cat wand around, and perhaps the dog not queueing actions with it.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

The LE simply says there is an error with trying to execute an animation and utilizing the cat wand. Yes I tried resetting my TS4 folder and repairing the game. About the only thing I have not tried is a new save due to lack of time but will get to it.

UPDATED

I have tested this on a brand new save, fresh TS4 folder, repaired game again, and it is still happening.

Could you please either c/p the LE you're getting or create a rar file from the LE and upload that to your post ? You can't attach the file directly.

Here you go, the LE basically says the same as the visible glitch.

This seems to be some kind of animation error. Are you using any mods that affect animations in-game? I can use a cat wand with the cats in my game just fine.

No, never have. This does not happen if you use the cat wand yourself, it only happens if you leave a cat wand on the floor in a household that also has a dog, and specifically when the dog queues the action to put away the cat wand. You can specifically see how the dogs body stretches, glitches and the wand gets teleported.

Tested on a brand new save, absolutely 0 CC/mods, generating a fresh copy of TS4 folder, repaired game, this still happens.

Here's how to reproduce the issue in-game as I did on a brand new save:

1-Create/choose a household that has an adult dog.

2-Load the lot. Buy a cat wand and place it ON THE FLOOR.

3-Put a pet toy box in the lot, make sure it has no other toys in it (sell the default ball it comes with). This is mainly so that your dog doesn't decide to go for the ball and overall reduces the time it takes for the error to show up, as the only toy the dog will have on the lot is the wand.

4-Wait until your dog tries to "Put Away" the cat wand. Once that happens, watch as the dog's body stretches and glitches, and the wand teleports. You will also get an LE. This is the LE I got:
