Sims Can't Finish Wedding Cake; My Wedding Stories

I have tried everything to get my Sims to finish with her wedding cake. She is at level 7 cooking and gourmet cooking skill and when I have her to make a wedding cake, she get done baking and starts to frost the cake but then she stops. When I click on her to resume with the wedding cake she cannot, the action just disappear and she doesn't finish the cake.  I have no mods install and her health is all the way up on green. No matter what i still get this issue with her finishing with the wedding cake. Thank You..

Have you ever gotten a solution to this issue? I’m having it as well and it’s all the more frustrating because I’m trying to run a wedding cake business and end up wasting funds on starting cakes. It’s so annoying
