Millennium Falcon event not shown in-game

Last week, it was announced the Flight of the Falcon event would make its return today.

However, it is not shown in-game, and the have been no rescheduling announcements. 

I'm just looking for clarification for my guild and the forum users if there is an issue, and when the event will be live.

Hi all and sorry for the late reply, had to wait for the studio guys to come in, to double check.

The event will go live later today with the update. Sorry for the confusion!

Just to add detail, I have the ship at 5* and cannot see the event

The Falcon event isn't showing for anyone in my guild either.

Can we please get some anwswer from EA/CG on what's going on with this? It is a rather important event for large numbers of players who don't currently have what is one of the strongest ships in the game and who've been farming the requirements for months to be able to get it...!

My best guess is that they intended to push a patch out yesterday (Wednesday is pretty typical), which would have loaded the Falcon event.

They didn't patch (whether it wasn't ready from a technical perspective or the timing was poor with relation to the Malak and Road Ahead announcements). Kyno on the Vanilla Forums has said it'll go live with the patch today.

Still...I think they should have announced it yesterday to reduce overall confusion for the community. A lot of players were looking forward to unlocking the Falcon.

Cheers for info - but yeah if it's going to be delayed beyond 'later today' then they should really also delay the "with ships" Grand Arena that starts today too as it makes a huge difference to your fleets
