Platform:Sony Playstation 4

What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? Bro_Unleashed
Please provide your squad mates' gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name if possible. none
Are you using any software with an overlay? No
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)? none
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)? none
Where did the issue occur? Returning to the lobby after a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. It put me to the log in screen and now I can't play because it won't let me press any buttons but my controller works.
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. it would not let me aim.
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? No
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? its never happened until now and I can't fix it.
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) July 3rd 2020 at 9:00 New York Eastern time
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? I can't log in or aim and shoot.
What should be happening instead? letting me log in
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? fixing my account

the bug I have will not let me log in shoot, aim, basically nothing and I can't play until its fixed. Please help me EA, I don't want to lose apex.

Thanks for getting back to me.

I actually went to rebuild the database and then my controller didn't work there either. I had a new controller that I bought a little while ago and that worked fine so it was actually the controller in the end, very odd!

This is only happening after you come back to the lobby after playing a match? If you close and restart the game it starts working again until after you've played another round?

Hi @EA_Kent,

 

I am having the same problem as above.

 

It said there was an error and it kicked me out of Apex and now I can't enter from the main menu,

 

My controller is fine as I can use it perfectly in the PlayStation menu but I literally cannot use it at all when Apex loads.

 

Have tried exiting the game, resetting my PlayStation I even deleted the game and re downloaded.

Thanks for the details!

 

When you've got a chance would you be able to try rebuilding the database on your PS4 to see if that helps at all? If this is happening because of corrupt files in the database that may help fix this. 

 

To rebuild the database first start up the PS4 in Safe Mode then select the Rebuild Database option when the menu comes up. Let me know how that goes when you can. Thanks again!
