What happens when the bug occurs? Matchmaking queue lasts forever or joins weird games with no players or Chinese spammers that instantly disconnect.
What should be happening instead? Should be queuing normally and joining normal games.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Unknown.
Stuck indefinitely in matchmaking queue, generally I'm the only player in queue, sometimes there are 3-4 others. When I'm in a party, all party members experience the same issue. When they leave party, they no longer have the issue. Created and tested a new account on the same computer, network, and installation - worked with no issues - assumed to be an account issue.
On several occasions, a game has begun. There are 2 players in my squad with Chinese names and spamming Chinese characters. They instantly disconnect, there are no other players in the game, and I win by default. UI element that normally displays number of players in the ship never displays and and there is a red speedometer icon displayed in the top right hand corner of the game.
Spent over 1 hour on the phone with EA support. The account is not banned or suspended, but was recently compromised. Terms of Service team have confirmed that no action has been taken on the account.
All troubleshooting actions completed to no avail. Also cycled data centre and checked launch options. As stated, this issue only affects my account. Other accounts can use the PC fine.

I have the same frustrating issue. Also, I thought it recognised your name @Neeeuro ,we were in the same lobby earlier today.
I do not know how to tell you this, there was a thread with 16 pages but they closed it for no reason and abandoned us to all who had that problem
