What type of issue do you have? Gameplay
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug General Grievous' and Jedi Knight Revan's "marked" debuff can be ignored by any character that can ignore taunt (Commander Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight Revan, anyone with the "Bounty Hunter's Resolve effect, etc.). In the text of these characters/effects, it states only taunt can be ignored. If the ignorability of marked is intentional, then why does General Grievous not grant allies taunt instead? Since marked is a debuff, enemy characters like T3-M4 and Darth Nihilus will become more effective against General Grievous based teams, because there will be more debuffs to take advantage of. It makes General Grievous a liability to have on droid teams if marked is ignorable. Also, why would Geonosian Spy's Starfighter inflict taunt as a debuff instead of marked if the two effects were meant to be have exactly the same uses? Finally, while less important, the effect "Deathmark" is similarly ignorable.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Inflict "marked" on any enemy (with an ally Jedi Knight Revan or an enemy General Grievous) and then target a different character using someone who can ignore taunt.

That's nota bug, that's your opinion of mechanics, and what they did or did not do based on your preconceived notion of what the 'right' thing was.

There is no bias here, what I am saying is that at best the mechanics and uses of taunt and marked can be unclear, detrimental, and/or needlessly complex. With the introduction of marked, there are several updates that could be made to the descriptions of abilities and buffs. The fact that it is not stated anywhere that marked can be ignored makes it seem unintended. Considering the detail many other ability descriptions go into, I do not believe my point is invalid. Just because many people are used to how the effects currently work does not mean it is clear to the community as a whole. If you were a new player and saw for the first time the descriptions and and limitations of taunt and marked in text form only, you would be mislead. Either marked should not be ignorable, or several descriptions are in need of updating, as well as geonosian spy’s starfighter inflicting taunt in a debuff form, which is just an overly complex way of saying “marked.” I did assume grievous inflicting marked instead of taunt was intended to be a workaround for taunt ignoring characters, because in text that is what anyone would assume if they were unfamiliar with the effect.

OP is right.  There is a big difference between a taunt and a mark.  Ignoring taunt in the text of one character should not mean ignoring all kinds of marks and deathmarks as well.
