Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I am not sure when it started as I had taken a break from playing for a few months. When I started playing again, I didn't play any households with children. Now I am and I've noticed that the majority of male children are aging up very thin with pear shaped bodies. Almost all of them have this same body type. It happens within my save with my played households, and with unplayed households around town. When my teens started meeting other teens, I noticed  almost all of them had this body type. I also tested it in CAS as if I was starting a new game with some of my saved sims. I know how they look aged up and have copies of them as children and teens. So I aged their child version up in CAS and they, too, have this weird body type, despite not looking like that in their actual aged up teen copy.

I am not sure what is going on, it looks like the game doesn't know what preset to choose upon aging up to teen or something? When I look at their presets in full edit mode, a different preset it selected for them. More times than not, the preset selected for them matches one of their parents but that is not what they look like when they age up. They are all these skinny pear shaped teens. I have taken some screenshots as an example. Some are of my own sims, some are unplayed households around town. Not every single teen is this way, but 99% of them are.

I never had this problem before and as far as I know it started with a more recent patch. Some of the kids I tested with were born in my saves a few years ago and didn't age up like they are aging up now during testing.

I did have mods in, but I removed them during testing.

Ok, I see I can only attach 3 images to the OP. I have several more. I'll show the example of the kinds of kids I am seeing around town. It is the same for my played sims.  The first image shows a townie teen with a different body type selected than the one he has. It was like that with the majority of them. They all seem to default to this body shape/type, despite having a different body preset selected.
