Please provide your squad mates' gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name if possible.
Are you using any software with an overlay? No
Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)?
Which Legends were your squad mates using (if applicable)?
Where did the issue occur? In the lobby (waiting area before the match)
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Main lobby.
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Selecting a game mode.

The -preload option fixed it for me.

I'm not sure how you'd do it in Origin, but in steam:

1. Right click the game

2. Click "properties"

3. Under "General," there should be a textbox called "launch options"

4. Set it to "-preload -quickstart" without the quotes (I'm not sure if -quickstart is required, it's just another thing in the list of 50 things I've tried to fix this in the past week...)

Hope that helps

Hi @laeioun

Thanks for the details! We've been tracking frame rate issues in the lobby for the Steam version of Apex Legends for a bit. I appreciate the additional info.

Ah, so this is a frame-rate related issue. The thing is, I have the same problem when running the Origin version of the game too.

@laeioun

Would you mind sharing a DxDiag when you've got a chance? For more information on how to pull one up visit the EA Help website. Once you have the text file please attach it to this thread. Thank you!

I have just discovered that using the -preload launch option fixes a lot of the stuttering. The issue is still there, but it's not as bad as before.
