Summarize your bug Legendary Freelancer challenge did not register completion of the Uncommon Javelin, Rare Javelin, Epic Javelin, or Masterwork Javelin challenges. Making the Legendary Freelancer challenge impossible to complete.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Complete the Uncommon Javelin, rare Javelin, Epic Javelin, and Masterwork Javelin Challenges, then check your Legendary Freelancer challenge progress.
What happens when the bug occurs? Challenge completion doesn't register.
What should be happening instead? Challenge completion should register.
There are more. There are so many more.None of the feats on the Journal page track either. General Feats, Artinia, Cariff, Gawness, Yvenia, they're all showing as "in Progress" but do not register anything. I've gained one point of progress on a gear kills feat, that was it. So much stuff is either tracking improperly or not tracking at all.
In addition Mederines' Disciple doesn't count towards the Distinguished Explorer Challenge which not only makes the Legendary Freelancer challenge impossible but it makes getting the No Stone Left Unturned trophy impossible.
Same here. Posted bug report too. https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Challenges-are-not-counted/m-p/7593784#M10350 Wish it will be possible to unite the reports so developers dont miss them.
Stronger together! LOL
This is why beta tests are supposed to run for long periods of time and provide access to every function. Not run for 24 hours and let you do one mission.
What their reason was for running beta test has absolutely nothing to do with anything. The test didn't accomplish anything. If they were testing gameplay, it failed because it didn't accomplish anything as the game is still buggy. if they were testing server connections, it failed because it didn't accomplish anything as the game servers still have seizures on a daily basis and connectivity issues about.
Also I know how stress testing is done but to say only reason any game does open beta is for server testing isn't exactly right. Diablo 3 ran open beta on reaper of souls to test game functionality. NiOh beta was an actual test of core mechanics. Division did it purely as a publicity stunt. Dark Souls ran it as a server stress test. There are countless reasons to run betas and generally those intended to test servers are labeled as network betas and network tests. Purpose of open betas varies greatly between studios, I should know I've been in hundreds of beta tests over the past twenty years alone.

Guys, I get it. After all, we were told that Anthem was a world abandoned by the creators even before its creation. But we thought it was a description of the game world, and not the game itself. Silly us.
