What happens when the bug occurs? The latest update has a file Avast Antivirus identifies as Malware. It refuses to accept the file and puts it in quarantine. Win64:Malware-gen

The latest update contains a file that Avast Antivirus identifies as Malware. It blocks the file and puts it in quarantine.
As a result, the game can't launch, since the game client/launcher notices files are missing, and thinks cheating is active.
I'm speechless. Just...wow. Exactly what are you trying to do? Is this your way of trying to stop cheaters? Infecting the computers with malware? Don't get me wrong, I hate the cheaters just as much as the next player. But this is not OK.

Hey all!
They are aware of the issue about the false positives.
Till they fix this issue, i'll leave here the steps how to add Apex as a Exception.
If this file is set in quarantine, flag it as false positive.

İ found a way to solve this. Just open your avast antivirus and under the protection part, the virus chest is there. When you open the virus chest simply go to the file and click the symbol on the right. From there click restore and add exception. Now the file is restored and you dont need to worry about it again. Sorry if İ couldnt help
