Killing Sims and cheats for killing sims not working

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? PC: 1.69.59.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try lighting a firework in a locked room, try swimming while exhausted, try typing in all of the cheats like hysteria, burning alive, freezing to death, elder exhaustion warning.
What happens when the bug occurs? None of them work, burning to death cancels when interaction begins. Cheats don’t respond, no grim reaper.
What do you expect to see? My sim to die so I can finish chapter 2 of my simstagram snowy escape story
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

The sim in the picture is the one who was supposed to be killed by her husband lol
