Keep getting disconnected code : snake, code : net error and abandoned penalty

The number of times, i have gotten abandoned penalty is just numerous. code : snake, code : net error, these are the errors i get all the time and i get abandon penalty for no reason.

i HAVE A 50MBPS CONNECTION. what is the FIX?

I've been getting this problem since the season update. I am stuck in gold 3 because I keep on getting code snake and abandon penalty and loose all my RP. I can't seem to find a fix and it becomes really annoying when you loose hundreds of RP and it's not even your mistake.

@EA_Atic This is not a user problem, this is an EA / Apex problem since the patch, as usual a poorly tested season patch like the last 5+.

I know my stuff when it comes to networking, my home connection is run on ent. hardware. I have a 1Gb fiber connection.

I join a game, your servers lag, freeze on either the splash screen, or today, on the player selection screen, it then kicks me, and says to check your guide, back to Continue main screen, try to connect right away - fails with codenake.

Try to join same server via Continue screen:


Kicks me back to Continue screen, hit TAB choose another server - connects right away with no problems.

Then get penalty cause Apex servers dropped me, and I was not even queued up for rank anymore, so your server are the issue not processing data fast enough, causing things to lag and crash and burn.



I had initially gone to join a ranked game, canceled it, changed my legend from Octane to Mirage, and then ready up for a Trio's game.....

AMD 5950X
Asus TUFF RX6800
96Gb of ram
Brocade switch  - 10Gb network
1Gb Fiber uplink that has 100% uptime for the last 7 months.

So for me I can replicate the issue

Start origin
Start Apex Legends
Choose Ranked
Ready
Hit loads screen or character selection screen and freezes.. then kicks me out to main Continue loading screen
Hit Continue on same server - fails to connect and gives me codenake
hit Tab to choose another server
Lets me in the game and tells me i Abandon the match...


Just did it to me now....I was on Oregon GCE2 server, yesterday it happened on Oregon 1 Server (not google cloud host). on server screen i then selec GCE 1 server and loads me in, of course with the abandon error.

So for one, Apex should be connecting me back to the game if it actually launched, which I do not think it did...so your reconnection code is not working then either...

Same, started for me in gold 2, have had 5 or 6 games at least where I have been top 3 with 10kp and all of a sudden boom Abandonment penalty. Does not even let you reconnect. I love apex but it doesn’t love me

Can reproduce- happens with first game i try to ready up for, ranked, trios or duos.

Freezes on splash, kicks me out to main continue screen, hit continue - codenake error, hit continue again, drops me into the games main screen with character selection.

This did not help. I am hardwired in and have over a 300 Mbps download and 15 Mbps upload speeds. My connection is not the issue,
