I have been building a few properties on Sims 4, like a gym, for example. I will transition from live mode to build mode and my treadmills and other gym equipment will disappear without a trace. They do not go into the inventory of the Sim character because I checked there. They just vanish into thin air. Do you know why this is happening? If so, how do I keep this from happening in the future?

Are you using any mods or custom content ?

I haven't heard of or seen anything of this sort before, so the mods/CC question is well worth asking. If you do use any, you should try temporarily removing them, clearing your cache and then repairing the game. Then try building in a fresh save to see if you still experience the behavior.

I'm having this issue with one lot. I don't have any mods and only have seasons. The house I've been working on is from the gallery but it didn't have any items that were cc when I added it.
I've cleared my cache but it still is happening.
Another aspect is that when going to live mode my walls down/cut away/up didn't work (stuck on up with the roof view) and if I zoom out, the items in the house reappeared.
I can add a screenshot if needed.
