[ Edited ]
EA Sims Team

Occasionally it is useful for The Sims 4 team to collect user files (saves, exception logs, etc.) in order to investigate issues.

There are 4 ways that you can share user files with The Sims 4 team.

(Note: These methods may have different file size restrictions.  Method 2, 3, or 4 is recommended for larger files.  If you use method 2, 3, or 4, please include your user name and a brief summary of the issue on your upload, so that we can identify it.)

  1. Direct attachment (only for text files)
    • You can attach a text file directly to a forum post.
  2. Upload with a account
    • You can sign up for a free account at
    • How to share files from Box: LINK
  3. Upload with a OneDrive account
    • How to share files from OneDrive: LINK
  4. upload widget
    • You can upload a file to The Sims 4 team through this link.

We may not accept files uploaded with any other means.

Most files that we request will be located in \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\ .  For example, game saves for The Sims 4 are located in \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves\ .
