I rebuilt the university housing but no roommates showed up

What happens when the bug occurs? No roommates in the dorm

I rebuilt the Foxbury Institute dorm house. The separate one and since then my student sim lives in it alone, no roommates show up or occupy the dorm. I tried it in different saves, the same thing happened. The cost of the dorm was more than 1000 simoleon per semester so not sure if this could be an issue but I am very bothered because the housing is beautiful but it’s very boring without roommates

@crinrict Thanks. It seemed that bulldozing the lot had something to do with it. I placed the lot in another save without bulldozing and it worked just fine.

You might want to check the venue type for the lot to make sure it is still set for the University Housing venue type.  If you rebuilt the house and included items that are not allowed in the UH venue type, it may have reset itself to Residential when you saved it.

Roommates only show up automatically in the University Housing venue type.  They don't if the house is set to any other Residential type (Haunted, Tiny, Residential).
