Hey Everyone,

 

We see that quite a few players are still running into this issue. If you still get this, please try the following:

 

PC Troubleshooting:

Spoiler
  • EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
  • Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
  • EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)
  • EGS - Repair (Library > Tile dots > Manage > Verify)
  • Steam - Verify in your library
  • Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates 
  • Default your game to the high-performance GPU, AMD Settings | Nvidia Settings | Windows Settings
  • Guide for Troubleshooting Graphics issues
  • Install/Repair your VC++ files for the game (Microsoft VC++ Link)
  • Download and update DirectX
  • Put your device in a Clean Boot then launch the game
  • Try the Game in different Compatibility settings
  • Remove any over-clocking or undervolt settings or software and check if the issue continues
    Try a Clean Boot

Something I discovered while encountering this error is that it can do with the amount of bandwidth your PC is already using. I was downloading a large application while trying to open the EA app, but it gave me this error until my download was done and then I had no problem logging in whatsoever.

If it's a system-related issue then why does it say there's a problem with the account? Shouldn't the message say "there's a problem with your system" instead? The wording is kind of confusing there.

Same issue. Wasn't having any problems with the app before the weekend. Now I can't launch FIFA or Jedi Survivor because the app doesn't work properly. Seriously, I bought the games through Steam, you guys already have my money, why does the game need to launch through a second game launcher that's been plagued with bugs since it launched? If I buy it through Steam it should only have to work through Steam.

That was my problem also. EA blocks you from using a VPN.
