What happens when the bug occurs? A holospray on the far side of some opaque object is "liked" instead of pinging the wall or no ping wheel is shown if holding. Releasing the hold pings "like" on the holospray.
What should be happening instead? Pings should respect collisions and not "like" holosprays through solid opaque walls.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? In any map, setup a holospray on the far side of a wall and ping it. It will be liked no matter how far away it is as long as you are looking close enough to it.
This issue has existed since the holosprays were introduced. As a long time paying customer of Respawn, I need an answer on why this issue is still in the game.
I'll be happy if you add an option in settings to disable pinging "like" on holosprays. They are a nice feature, but this makes me wish they were never added to the game. Make me like the idea of them again, please.
