There seems to be a possible bug with the game saving and having baby boys. Twice I got boys and the game refused to save. After having the boys, when I shut down the game and come back in ,I have to hit the check mark again and both times the babies turned to girls. I loose the boys. If I have a girl the first time, the game will save. I'm doing more testing but I am wondering if this is happening to other players.
