[HSY] Mattress Firmness Upgrade Giving Sore Back Moodlet

[ Edited ]
Anonymous

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.98.127.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Journey to Batuu GP and Bust the Dust Kit.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Upgrade a bed (seems to be the lower Comfort beds, single or double, without the Uncomfortable trait) with the Mattress Firmness upgrade and have a sim sleep on the bed.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sim wakes up with the Sore Back moodlet.
What do you expect to see? The correct positive moodlet for the upgrade, instead of the bed suddenly acting like it has the Uncomfortable trait.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I've mostly noticed this on the High School Years beds, but since I've stopped using that upgrade at all thanks to this bug, it may be more widespread.

@Anonymous There's this older thread: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Upgraded-beds-give-two-contradictory-moodlets/m-p/8702606 that sounds very similar.

Are you only getting the sore back one or also the other at times ?

Nick confirmed that just the sore back one isn't a bug but a design choice.

Nope, I'm not getting the positive moodlet that is supposed to happen, when upgraded, at all (as far as I've been aware). And if the bed is NOT upgraded, I never get the Sore Back moodlet, so it's not the same thing as that other issue. This specifically seems to be getting the wrong moodlet on the upgraded bed, which I don't think is intended if the non-upgraded bed gives no moodlet, especially because, as I said, these are NOT beds rated as Uncomfortable (and actually have Discomfort Relief ratings of 1). I've noticed this on the Darling Deco and Wicker Work single beds, and the Pipe Dreams and Original Launchpad double beds specifically, so it might be an issue with those ones. (Like I said, I've stopped using that upgrade for now, so I don't know if more than those ones are affected.)

@Anonymous Thanks for the extra info

For those hitting me too on this thread, which beds are you seeing this for ? Is this for HSY beds only or did you also see it for other beds ?

I have seen this on some of the above beds and the Vintage Floral single bed, so it does seem to be only the HSY beds that are having this issue.
