Got more points in ranked then I should have

What happens when the bug occurs? Our squad died in a ranked game and but when I attempted to disconnect after the whole squad was wiped I got a warning that I shouldn't since I could still be rescued by my teammates. So I stayed and watched the remaining fights of the other squads. When the game was over and only one squad was left I could exit without the warning. I then got points as if I came in second place (aka 60 points) for 2nd place and 40 for my 2 kills. We actually came in at 6th place so I got more points then I should.
What should be happening instead? I should have been able to exit after the whole squad was wiped without a warning and should only get points for 6th place.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Don't know. I have no Idea how it happened..

This has only happened this one time, but I felt that I should report it since I dont deserve all the points aka I deserve the points for 6th place not 2nd. Me and the wraith died by the zone due to just finishing a fight with low hp left. Our Pathfinder attempted to rescue us but since it was the fourth or fifth 5 zone he died before picking both of us up.
