How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Little to no impact to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? If you sign up for "Play Apex" but then go into a sub-menu (Battle-Pass, Legends, Armory, etc) it will switch your selection to "Apex Elite" when you return to the main menu (even if you've already readied-up).
What should be happening instead? The game should NOT change your selection automatically
