Summarize your bug When navigating to your Characters from the ship area, then selecting a single Character will infrequently glitch the display.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to ships > click Characters (top left icon) > choose any character and the glitch presents itself.

See attached screenshot.  This doesn't happen every time, but often enough. 

You must first be in ships (where fleet battles, store, etc. is located), then click the Characters icon (top left), and then click a character to reproduce this glitch.
