Gear icons disappearing

Summarize your bug The icon for gear, particularly the mk 5 stun gun salvage, frequently disappears. This occurs on both my accounts linked to the same device and most often when attempting to search for farming locations. Usually, it's just the stun gun that vanishes, but occasionally it's also associated gear and gear on the same farming nodes (see pictures). It has also occurred when receiving the salvage as a reward.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to a character that needs the mk 5 stun gun salvage and attempt to search for the mk 5 stun gun salvage. It may take many attempts. It's unpredictable, sometimes happening three times in a row, sometimes working fine many times in a row.

Missing icons are usually caused by the asset not being loaded correctly. If you keep running into this issue, we suggest doing a fresh install of the game and then once installed, leave the game on the main Cantina screen for a few minutes to ensure that all assets are downloaded. Please ensure that you have a strong and stable internet connection when doing this.

I tried reinstalling the game and letting it sit for half an hour. Still the same problem on both accounts. It only started happening since the galactic challenges update. It seems to me that assets that have been in the downloaded files for years shouldn't have a problem with not being downloaded.

Now it's even worse with more than just the stun guns disappearing. Other gear and character icons are gone too.

You can upgrade that "occasionally" thanks to your "fix," now it's about 70% of the time I search any gear. Of course, this probably won't even be read and this thread will just be written off so CG can go pretend they're doing something about the game crashing for everyone
