Summarize your bug Car starts driving without driver.
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? We entered the car as soon as the cop arrived and the "mission failed".
What happens when the bug occurs? The car starts driving on it's own, the cutscene starts and the screen turns black. After a few secounds you will respawn at the last checkpoint.
What do you expect to see? No car driving on it's own... ^^

I can confirm that ghost cars are definitely not a feature in A Way Out 

Have you tried to swap the characters or to do this mission offline and then reconnecting to your friend?
