Game freezing mid battle

When playing and selecting an ability to use, the game becomes completely unresponsive. Timer stops, clicks do not register. Game must be completely shut down and reopened to fix. This started about 2 weeks ago. Happens in every game mode. Has happened in arena, territory battles, and raid. Happens with random characters. Seems to be no rhyme or reason. This is costing me crystals (have to refresh arena), get2 (crashing during the special mission), gear (losing points in raids). 

With how common this is battles should be allowed to repeat if a crash happens.

Happened to me as well.  Galaxy a50. Using wifi. Ally code 823517481. This was from arena.  

Had happened once before in the sith raid but didn't think much of it at the time.

Just happened again in arena. Still on wifi. This time i didn't call an assist,  just clicked shaaks basic and the game froze.
