January 2020
The same exact issue on PC. Games will launch, get about 5 minutes or so in, and then the server crashes with {code:net} and boots myself (and team) to the Main Menu/Title screen (Left-click to Play screen). I have been affected by this issue since December 30th, 2019 and am still being affected by this issue as of January 2nd, 2020.
Servers I have experienced this issue are the following:
Iowa GCE 1-4
New York
Virginia
Dallas
Salt Lake City
Oregon 2
From reading other reports, it appears that we can deem this a global issue also impacting servers in the EU.
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? Yes
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? 0
How often does the bug occur? on average, 50% of matches (sometimes more)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay, game unplayable when the issue is in effect
What happens when the bug occurs? It boots me to the main menu, not the lobby menu, but the main menu and it tells me I’ve been disconnected from the server with {code:net}.
What should be happening instead? The server shouldn’t crash, we should be able to complete the match.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play in your public lobbies, I assure you it will happen eventually.
January 2020
So I tried following steps now (according to workarround list from June!):
checked my router firmware - It's up to date
Restarted router - still DCs
changed DNS servers in my network-adapter fromm automatic to google - still DCs
excluded Apex Legends and Easy Anti Cheat from firewall and virusdetection - still DCs
restarted router (unplugged power cable 10 minutes) - still DCs
tried London server - still DCs (like Frankfurt 1+2, Belgium 1-3 and Amsterdam)
tried DNS flush (deletes DNS cache) via command console - still DCs
repaired installation of Apex LEgends - still DCs
Yesterday evening I started Origin and Apex Legend as Admin.
I had a 3 hour session without DCs...
Gonna repport how it works today!

Yesterday evening it was better, but still disconnected once in a while.
I guess it's related to Christmas and a lot of people playing and EA/Respawn didn't take this into account.
Maybe we need to pay for premium servers.
