Game crashes on Android OS 7.1.1 or lower after 04/12/2019 update

@AlyssaTate71No Android emu runs 8.0 that I know of, on the Discord channels (1000+ members) no one has an issue with accounts running v8 and above and no iOS reports with the same issue as it's a Google Play API call problem. I'm just relaying what may be useful info based on a massive user base, I don't have the exact details to resolve.

It only seems to effect users with connected Google accounts too, not Guest players.

Running Android 7.1.2 (can't upgrade further). Game does not load past the Disney / Lucasfilm screen. 

Tried clearing cache/app data
Tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app
No change.

@csanesz80 That's a 2nd report here, linked account to Google I'm guessing? It's ironically good, it means something is trickling through and falling over enough to wake up support.

Are we going to be reimbursed for this as we are going to/have miss 2 separate energy refreshes payouts for arena (I can not climb to usual reward level) GA has been affected so will lose out on rewards etc. Might be more depending how long it takes to resolve.
