This is a known issue with NVIDIA's driver version 418.81. I was having this issue with my RTX 2060, as well.

Rolling your driver back may stop the crashing as it did for me:

  1. Right-click (not left-click) on the Start Menu windows logo
  2. Select Device Manager
  3. Double-click on Display adapters
  4. Double-click on the graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce RTX... e.g.)
  5. Click on the Driver tab
  6. Click Roll Back Driver

Engine Error

Engine Error - 0x887A0006 - DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG The application's device failed due to badly formed commands sent by the application.
This is a design-time issue that should be investigated and fixed.

Ive tried the repair "fix"
also reg file "fix"
and run both origin and apex as administrator

still having this issue any suggestions?
