[GTW] Can't assign uniform to non-binary staff members [ Edited ]

So we've discussed bathroom doors not being accessible to non binary Sims. We've discussed relationship and woohoo preferences being men/women. Today my Sim hired a non binary Sim for her retail lot and guess what? Couldn't assign them a uniform because it said there were no female staff/ no male staff. (Image included below)

Now I'm just an ally. But I felt a sickening feeling there.

So can we please start accommodating non binary Sims fully? Because it's like our game quite rightly added them...but didn't open everything up for them. Because this issue is way too sensitive a subject to do half measures.

The mechanics of the game need to catch up and I hope they do it soon.

It's just a staff uniform in this case, the uniform itself doesn't matter. They can wear their own clothes to the retail store. But it can easily be amended to "Uniform" without genders.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Hire a non binary staff member in a retail lot and try to assign a uniform. 
What happens when the bug occurs? There's a message telling you no male/female Sims work there so you can't assign a uniform.
What do you expect to see? I should be able to assign a uniform, maybe a gender neutral option would help.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes

Please describe the patch or change you made. The introduction of non binary Sims.

It seems straightforward to fix if uniforms could be gender neutral or have a gender neutral option alongside the male/female options. Thanks.

Update: I spoke to some folk on this and we've already filed a bug report internally for this.

I have actually just realised the importance of the scars that have been added for representation. With everything going drastically wrong with the broken controls and crashing since the disastrous update last week, I missed what the scars actually were. It's the one shining light. It's going to mean something to a lot of people to see the addition of things like top surgery scars and I'm really happy for people that they'll get to see that in the game.

I hadn't even looked, in all the chaos I ended up seeing them properly in a media article. I'm proud of that inclusion.👏
