[GRO] Cannot place Keepsake Box (if box contains Plasma Fruit) [ Edited ]

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.96.365.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except some kits
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Put Plasma Fruit inside a Keepsake Box (I used Ornate) and then try and place the new Keepsake Box onto the ground or on a surface from a sim's inventory.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game glitches out. I cannot place the objects.
What do you expect to see? To place the box down so I can put things inside.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I installed Growing Together

I have been having issues with the Plasma Fruit tree also, they keep on vanishing back into just planted rather than staying mature.

Just note that since testing using the Better Exception mod, I have since:

1. Removed this mod also and tested to find the same issue (aka no mods are currently installed and the issue persists)

2. Cleared the cache and localthumbs - issue persists

3. Repaired my game - issue persists

4. I have deleted the Plasma trees from the lot - issue persists.

5. I went to manage worlds then went back in after deleting - issue persists.

6. I went off lot to another world (Mt Komorebi - they're in San Sequoia) - issue persists.

7. I moved them out of the house (+ sold furnishings) into another in another world (Willow Creek) - issue persists. 

8. I deleted the plasma fruit from the inventories - issue persists.

 I then load up a new game and tested with new a new sim. I tested all three keepsake boxes and all work. What could be wrong with my save, and what does it have to do with the plasma fruit?

Edit: I have remembered that I placed Plasma Fruit inside the keepsake box. I bought a new, empty, Keepsake Box and moved it in and out of my sim's inventory with no issues.

Edit 2: I have sold the Keepsake Boxes to get new ones. I tested them by putting in Plasma Fruit and for some reason, they work again. 

I can share my save file if somebody can tell me how I can locate it in the mess of other save files?

And sorry if it's a stupid question also, but what doc folder might this be? Do you mean Google Docs?

@ZanthiatheMystic Documents folder (doc folder is just short for that, sorry).

So the file should be in: Documents\Electronics Arts\The Sims 4\ and is called LastException.

Make sure the file isn't too old.
