GAS died before clones during GAS mission (p4 in LSTB).  GAS didn’t kneel, he just died.

@totenteufel Hi, thanks for the report! Based on your screenshot, I would say that GAS fell victim to the Sniper Droid special ability “Sniper Shot.” If the sniper droid has more than 15 charge stacks, Sniper Shot instantly defeats the target instead of doing damage. This would be able to instantly kill GAS because it’s not reducing his protection to 0 - it just kills him like Nihilus’ Annihilate.

@GladOS-013 That’s possible. I was uninformed as to this possibility. It was quick, GAS and 5s death were simultaneous, so I don’t know who got hit with what.
