Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 4
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Enter the game
What happens when the bug occurs? Following the update doubles are still appearing
What do you expect to see? No doubles
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
Although the update states that doubles have been removed. This is what my gallery looks like after the update. See attached image

The online gallery is also showing with some doubles. This is not connected to my game

What happens when the bug occurs? When I open my library in the gallery, all of my stuff has a duplicate. If I delete the wrong duplicate, the sims disappear and there is a red X over the box. Trying to delete the red X item does nothing most of the time. (Though 1/10 times it'll disappear when I try to delete it.)
What do you expect to see? Just a single version of the item, and I can delete them without the game freezing up.

This. This is my problem.
A little while back I had to get my computer wiped and rebooted back to Windows 10, and then my stuff was put back onto my laptop. I expected that Sims would have removed EVERYTHING and I'd have to start from scratch, which I was prepared to do. However, instead of that, I was greeted with duplicates, sometimes labeled "copies" of everything in my library. At first, I just thought I'd delete the copies and it'd be fine, but then the leftover turned blank and had a red X over it. Opening it and trying to delete the item proved to be like landing a nat-20; nearly impossible. And when I was able to do it, it was a pleasant surprise.
At this point, I am, in fact, willing to just have my gallery wiped. This is getting ridiculous, and removing mods doesn't help. It's making playing the game a huge pain. Is there something that can be done?
