GAC ties winner

So, I just had a tie in grand arena and I was the loser party, because I had less GP than my enemy.
I think that the logical thing is, the person with lesser GP to be a winner on a gac tie, because he achieved the same result, against oponent with more resources than him. But perhaps there's other point of view.

Is this a bug or a feature?

Anyways, one battle is nothing, just wanted to point out, hope devs will think on it.
