Summarize your bug When joining Grand Arena Championship at let's say 2 pm CET all updates made to your roster after that doesn't come into play on GAC. Therefore many try to join GAC as late as possible, and they end up and miss the GAC for that whole week.

In Grand Arena event your roster gets locked when you hit the "Join" button for the first time. That is the intended behavior and not a bug. See the official announcement for that change: Updates on Current Issues.
